319 Scholes and Devotion Gallery present: The Shift

A three day benefit celebrating one year of curation in the 11206 Brooklyn zipcode

August 27th, 8pm through Sunday August 29th at 8pm

THE SHIFT is a birthday benefit for Devotion Gallery and 319 Scholes. It includes an exhibition, art auction with all pieces capped at $250, multiple performances, high calibre live music, and workshops focused on music technology. If you missed the last year at these two ground breaking, kick-ass exhibition spaces, or want a sneak peak at what is in store for 2011, THE SHIFT is not to be missed.

SATURDAY NIGHT LINE UP CURATED BY DEVOTION AND 319 SCHOLES IN ORDER OF Appearance:  7pm until 4am | Sindy Butz, Ted Hayes, Ezekiel Honig, RJ Valeo, Igal Nassima & Taylan Sinan Yilmaz 

SUNDAY: 319 Scholes brings artists and audiences together with culinary creations. Food is served from 3-5pm.

SATURDAY AND SUNDAY WORKSHOPS ORGANIZED BY DEVOTION: Max Fuel / Max4Live, Ableton: 101, Ableton: Advanced Seminar, DIY Electroacoustics: Pickups and SuperCollider.  (note class admission not included in ticket price or vise versa)

 

$10 per night - $25 3 day pass - Free Saturday and Sunday during gallery hours (12pm - 4pm)
